I'm really curious to see what Renegades's sequel will be like, and I'm hoping I'll be able to give it a higher rating than I gave this one ).įeatured Author - January // HEATHER FITZGERALD (+.įeatured Creator - Janurary // ABBIE EMMONSħ Best Books I Read In 2017 + 7 Books I Can't Wait. All in all, it was an engaging story that I really enjoyed, and I wish I could give it a better rating. NOW A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER From 1 New York Times-bestselling author Marissa Meyer, comes a high-stakes world of adventure, passion, danger, and betrayal. yeah, so that explains why Renegades only got three stars. So, it wasn't really the fact that there was language that bugged me - I'm used to books having language (I don't condone it, but I've learned to expect it sometimes) - but I was surprised by it, because the rest of Marissa's books have been a little cleaner language-wise. but since there was a conflict of belief in there for me, I can only give it three. If it hadn't been for that content, Renegades probably would have gotten four or even five stars from me. Anyways - as Adrian's parents weren't focused on a lot, I chose to continue reading Renegades, so that I could at least review it for you guys. If I'd known about it beforehand, I might not have chosen to read Renegades, but I kind of jumped in blind for how much hype this book got xD. The kind of relationship Adrian's parents had was what bothered me the most as far as content goes (not mentioning it in so many words as I do have some pretty young readers on my blog).
